Getting Started
Starting a conversation
Tap the chat box or microphone at the bottom of the screen. You can speak or type — whichever feels easiest. Your companion will reply right away.
Speaking vs. typing
Both work equally well. Use the microphone button to speak, or tap the text box to type. You can switch between them anytime.
Installing on your phone
Open the app in your browser, then tap your browser menu (the three dots or three lines) and choose “Add to Home Screen” or “Add to phone.” The app will appear on your home screen like any other app.
Voice & Audio
The voice stopped working
Try locking and unlocking your phone, then returning to the app. If a call or notification interrupted the audio, it should recover on its own. If not, close and reopen the app.
The microphone isn’t responding
Make sure your browser has microphone permission. On iPhone: Settings → Safari → Microphone → Allow.
I can’t hear anything
Check that your phone volume is turned up and the ringer isn’t silenced. Some phones have a separate media volume from the ringer switch.
Account & Password
I forgot my password
On the sign-in page, tap “Forgot your password?” and we’ll send a reset link to your email. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.
I can’t sign in
Try resetting your password first. If you still can’t get in, reach out to us at hello@mysilvercircle.org and we’ll help you.

Is this a real person?
No — your companion is an AI designed to talk with you naturally and warmly.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your conversations are private and are not shared with anyone.
Does this cost money?
You are only charged if you choose a paid plan. Beta testers use the app free of charge.
Can I leave anytime?
Yes. You can stop using My Silver Circle whenever you’d like. No pressure, ever.
Something isn’t working right
Try a hard refresh first (hold Shift and tap reload, or close and reopen the app). If it persists, use “Report a problem” below.
